GuocoLand's top bid of S$627.8 million for River Valley Green (Parcel B) works out to S$1,420 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).

The site is situated along River Valley Green Parcel A

it should be connected to the Great World station Exit 1 on the Thomson East Coast Line and the retail offerings at the Great World City mall. The site also has a long frontage along Kim Seng Park and faces the Singapore River.

Its beside Great World MRT Station and between Trillium and Cosmopolitan condominiums.

Great World MRT station ( part of Thomson East Coast Line) connects directly to Orchard, Shenton Way, Marina Bay, and Gardens by the Bay and East Coast.

Residents of Valley Green will be sheltered to Great World MRT station, the station is also connected underground to Great World Mall.

GuocoLand Limited ("GuocoLand") was incorporated in Singapore as a private limited company named Sealion Hotels Pte Ltd on 31 March 1976. It was converted to a public company on 30 September 1978 and its shares were listed on the SGX-ST on 14 November 1978. After the sale of its then principal asset, the Hyatt Regency, Singapore in 1986, the Company became an investment holding company operating under the name of First Capital Corporation Ltd.

Today, GuocoLand is one of the major property companies listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. As at 30 June 2023, the Group has total assets of $12.01 billion and total equity attributable to ordinary equity holders of $4.27 billion.

The 126,325 square foot site, zoned residential with commercial at first storey, can yield about 475 private homes.
Serviced apartment and long-stay serviced apartment uses are permitted for the site, subject to approval from technical agencies. Long-stay serviced apartments, with a minimum stay duration of three months, are a rental concept unveiled by the government in November 2023. They differ from regular serviced apartments, which have a seven day minimum.
